As of January 1st, Greater London hosts 1,200 coworking spaces, accounting for nearly 30% of the UK’s total supply of 4,152 locations. This firmly positions the capital as the country’s largest and most concentrated flexible workspace market.
Inventory at Scale
With 1,200 spaces across the City of London and the 32 boroughs, coworking supply in the capital significantly exceeds that of any other UK city. By comparison, Manchester, the second-largest market, has 128 spaces, followed by Glasgow (68), Birmingham (66), Bristol (61) and Leeds (60).
This concentration highlights London’s continued role as the central hub for freelancers, startups, SMEs and enterprise occupiers seeking flexible office solutions.
