The Shoreditch Arch

SHOREDITCH CO-WORKING SPACE

We are The Original Shoreditch shared office space, starting out when the term ‘co-working’ was merely a glint in a wanky marketeer’s eye.

The Shoreditch Arch was invented by mistake in December 2006 during a chance taxi ride with a music marketing guru, Chris Greenwood, and budding musician Isa Summers, who later became the machine in Florence and The Machine.

In the middle of them was me, Dave, and a few weeks later I moved our music PR agency, Outpost, into this old railway arch on Rivington Street in Shoreditch.

We imaginatively christened it The Shoreditch Arch and we’re not quite sure how, but over the next few years we gradually turned the Arch into an actual shared co-working space. It subsequently took on a life of its own.

Our ethos is focused on start-ups and small businesses, and unlike alot of the other ‘co-working’ spaces out there, we charge affordable rates to cover stuff that you need (like 350mb superfast internet) and don’t make you pay for stuff you don’t (like 20 alternative types of tea, and jugs of fruit water). We figure if you have managed to start your own company, you are probably capable of buying your own tea bags and getting yourself a glass of water.

HERE’S WHAT’S INCLUDED IN OUR ALL-IN-ONE LICENCE FEE:

– Fibre Optic Cable up to 350mb, wifi or wired connection
– Daily cleaning (Mon-Fri)
– Rates
– Heating and air con
– 24 Hour Access
– CCTV
– Kitchen
– Free use of meeting room
– Business address including your own pigeon hole
– Monthly networking events with FREE DRINKS!
