eOffice which is a design-led coworking space in Central London, opened its doors in April 2002, becoming the first coworking operator in London to offer open-plan and fully equipped workspaces, this at a time when offices were traditionally just a room with a couple of desks. With four locations in the heart of London’s West End, today eOffice is home to a number of UK and international startups and growing companies.
Inspiration has always been an important factor for the coworking pioneer and “Learning to inspire” has been one of their mottos from the very start. “We aim to keep our clients motivated and on a positive path towards success” affirms Emma Gosling-Jackson, Sales Specialists at eOffice and who has been with the company for almost a decade.
This month eOffice hosted two insightful workshops powered by Monkfeet giving great insights on how to be more productive and creative at work.
On Wednesday, June 22nd, a young and energetic group of freelancers and entrepreneurs gathered at eOffice HQ after work to attend an intensive Instagram Master Class. Allison Battisby, Founder of Avocado Social, led the team through an intensive course focused on the use and benefits of Instagram in today’s business world.
Battisby shared interesting facts including Instagram becoming the fastest growing Social Media platform with over 400 million users worldwide, surpassing Twitter and Facebook. The group also learnt some tricks and practical advice on how Instagram is constantly adding new features for users to implement on their business Instagram accounts.
A week later, and inspired by the previous workshop, the group gathered once again to attend an Excel Crash Course. Excel Guru, Jacek Polewsky and founder of Challenge JP took the group on a comprehensive learning journey teaching them how to increase their productivity and improve their skills with Excel.
According to Polewsky, dealing with numbers within spreadsheets can be frustrating, especially if you’re not familiar with Excel, its formulas and numerous tools. The workshop helped attendees understand the fundamental concepts and ideas of Excel to get them well on their way to becomming Excel Masters!
